Well, We've been in the new house a month and a half and we LOVE it! Perfect size, cozy, efficient. I guess after you build 8 or 9 houses you finally get it right, LOL!
The Fur Kids have settled in nicely.
We take everyone out several times a day and just walk around the property, letting them get used to their new outdoor surroundings.
We are slowly getting things hung up and put away. Jeff had some coat hooks custom made for the entry off the garage
and for the Front Foyer.
I love, love, love my new kitchen! Lots of storage, lots of prep area and plenty of space for two cooks. Or one cook and one supervisor, LOL!

The Island is so big I can barely reach the middle but it's perfect for entertaining.
We put the Coffee Bar and Liquor Cabinet on this side area to help keep the rest of the kitchen less cluttered. I love that high window.
In Summer we can open the sliders and bring the outside in.
(That's the new Cat Tree on the far right)
This house is actually smaller than the Lake House.
We eliminated the Dining Room that we never used except to fold laundry π
But we added a nice big Laundry Room with a folding counter and a place to hang things right out of the dryer.
(Panoramic shot makes the floor & ceiling look wonky.)
The Master bedroom is on the Main level on the same hall as the Laundry. All the door openings in the house are 3' wide. The Master Bath has a walk in shower with a half inch threshold.
There are no stairs into the front entry or in from the garage.
We have 3 guestrooms and a full bath down stairs. One bedroom we turned into a shared Hobby space,
one is mostly occupied by the cats (& their litter-box)
and one is for actual guests π.
We still need to hang pictures and add the little homey touches but all in all we are
Lastly, Jeff has a separate Office/Reloading Room off the garage, where he can reload shotgun shells or take conference calls without disturbing the rest of the house.
That's all for today folks. Thanks for visiting and we hope you all have a Happy & Healthy 2020!
